Dear Readers,
Welcome to a new edition of the San Diego Participant Observer newsletter. Our Recipe of the Month is for French Canadian Poutine, a surprisingly delicious dish to enjoy for a snack or meal. Our book of the Month Selection is Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata. And our International Music recommendation is for Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa by Jeremy Dutcher as collection of musical works that blend classical forms with Canadian Wolastoq First Nation traditional music.
Special Announcement: The Center for World Music is offering Participant Observer readers a $10 discount on either General Admission or VIP tickets to tonight's Drummers Without Borders at the Mingei! Just use the discount code WVP10 when you check out. Should be a great show!
